KAYSERI, TURKEY (Zenger News) – A violinist who was afraid of paragliding for the first time found an unusual way to calm his nerves.
He took his instrument with him.
Violin teacher Fikret Eren told his childhood friend Semih Er that he was jealous of his status as a professional paraglider because he had always dreamed of flying.
Er, who has been paragliding for eight years, suggested Eren give it a try. He told her that he just needed something to distract him from the fear. It was then that Eren decided to take the violin with him.
He admits to being scared at first, but found courage when his friend offered to accompany him. Plus, Eren liked the idea of playing the violin above the mountains.
The two friends staged the coup in the Turkish province of Kayseri on April 3.
In the images sent by Er, Eren is seen playing the violin while paragliding over the mountains.
“Fikret later admitted that his fear of flying had simply evaporated, and he wished he had been paragliding until today. He’s even now enrolled in our course to get a paragliding license, ”Er said. “We had a very interesting flight.
“I’ve been doing this for eight years. I have made over 3,000 flights. But he said it wasn’t everyday that he flew with a violinist, thinking there had been other unusual episodes.
“There were people who shaved in paragliders. People had a picnic in the sky. I even went paragliding with people who took their animals with them. I am happy to show people the sky because this happiness cannot be bought with money. It’s a very different experience. “
