Ben Böhmer drops ‘Beyond Beliefs’ Circle set intro ID

Of the countless performances broadcast live from 2020, perhaps none was more spectacular than Ben Böhmer’s DJ set delivered high in a hot air balloon. Shot above Turkey’s beautiful Cappadocia Park, the breathtaking setting has now racked up over 13 million views, quickly becoming one of Cercle’s most popular performances. Böhmer started his set with the debut of a new ID, a delicate melodic house track we now know called “Beyond Beliefs”. On social media, Böhmer described the meaning of the title:

“This title symbolizes pure hope for me. I tried to counter the melancholy vibe of the song with glimpses of positive and shimmering elements. When your life plans fall apart, hope is a good thing to hold onto. This track is my expression of the belief that one day everything will be fine. – Ben Böhmer

“Beyond Beliefs” is the first single from Ben Böhmer’s upcoming album Restart, released September 24. Böhmer’s second album arrives via Anjunadeep, the same imprint that housed his debut album in 2019. Breathing. Once again, the German producer took to social media to share the inspirations behind the LP:

This album means so much to me. I wrote it all at a time when my girlfriend and I were separated on the other side of the world for 9 months due to the global travel ban. During this time, making music was my therapy and this album is the most personal music I have ever written. We have been through such a roller coaster of emotions and many challenges, and each track is a reflection of how I was feeling at those times. As we now begin our life together by sharing a home in Berlin, I can look to the future knowing that despite all the ups and downs, we are stronger for everything we’ve been through. Ben Böhmer
