Costa Cruises on Friday presented its offer for lovers of Greek cruises who, during the season, will have different possibilities to embark from the port of Piraeus choosing from several itineraries of eight to fifteen days in the Eastern Mediterranean aboard the Costa Venezia and Costa Deliziosa.
The Costa Venezia program includes a completely new itinerary, with embarkation and disembarkation in Piraeus, designed to include longer stops in ports to enjoy the destinations with plenty of time, among cities rich in history, splendid archaeological sites and the UNESCO World Heritage Site and crystal clear seas. Since the beginning of May, Costa Venezia has been organizing a 15-day “super tour”, with eight stopovers of more than 10 hours dedicated to Turkey and Greece, until November 18, 2022.
The trip includes a two day and one night stopover in Istanbul, the beautiful Turkish destinations of Izmir and Bodrum, the island of Mykonos and Athens, two two day and one night stopovers in Istanbul and Kusadasi, Turkey , before setting off to discover Rhodes and Heraklion.
In the winter of 2022-23, Costa Venezia will offer a 12-day itinerary to Turkey, Egypt, Israel and Cyprus, passing through Istanbul (with a stopover of two days and one night), Bodrum, Limassol, Haifa ( also with a two-day stopover, one-night stopover), Alexandria and Kusadasi. From spring 2023, the route from Piraeus will resume.
The range of shore excursions available has been redesigned to explore hidden and little-visited places, and to enjoy the most authentic traditions, flavors and colors. Thanks to these offers, it is possible, for example, to attend a private concert in a Roman amphitheater in Ephesus; discover Istanbul at night; take a cruise on the Bosphorus, between the two continents; sleep in the typical houses dug out of the rock in the lunar landscapes of Cappadocia; relax in the natural pools of Pamukkale; dive among the submerged remains of the city of Mindo, in the company of an archaeologist. And again, stroll through the vineyards of Kusadasi with an oenologist; horseback riding through the pine forests and sands of Pamucak Beach; explore the coast of the Bodrum Peninsula on a private caique; to discover the secrets of the Acropolis in Athens or relax in the sun on the beautiful beaches of Mykonos, Rhodes and Crete, depending on the cruise line.
Costa Venezia Interiors is dedicated to the famous places, squares, personalities and symbols of Venice. With its many outdoor spaces and the largest outdoor dining offer in the fleet, Costa Venezia offers the unique experience of a traveling city of art on the sea. Each guest will find their own entertainment opportunities. Adults can enjoy an entertainment program that features quality live shows, Costa Cruises said.
In addition to the option with Costa Venezia, from October 19 to November 18, Costa Deliziosa will also offer the possibility for Greek customers to easily embark in Piraeus for cruises to the Eastern Mediterranean with an itinerary to Italy, Croatia and Montenegro.
The cruise line assures that there are plenty of great outdoor spaces to fully enjoy the sailing experience. Families with children will find plenty of onboard activities, like a water park and adventure park, and couples will find a private spa, pools, and plenty of space for intimate moments.
Gastronomy is another distinctive experience on all Costa ships. Guests on board will be able to taste the dishes and menus created especially for Costa by three world-renowned chefs, Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze and Ángel León, which make it possible to explore the destinations also through food, by Costa Cruises.
